Prime for shelling and snorkeling, the shoreline of southern Siesta drops-off dramatically with coarser, darker sand. This beach and its amenities offer a more natural, "old Florida" feel. Turtle Beach has no lifeguards, but there is free parking with picnic tables, a playground, showers and restrooms. It may not be as popular as Siesta Beach, but at least you’ll find plenty of free parking.

Boaters will enjoy the trailer/RV parking where they can launch boats in a lagoon for a spectacular day in the Gulf.
