Englewood Beach is the most popular beach on the key and generally has ample parking.
You may want to get there early on weekends and in the height of the tourist season. It has lifeguards, picnic tables,
showers and restrooms. There's also a large play area for the kids and a pavillion. A convenience store and a
restaurant are across the street from the beach. |

| The vacation rentals on Manasota Key vary from rental condominiums to apartment efficiencies and motel rooms. The atmosphere is that of old Florida with several good restaurants and souvenir shops on the island and in Englewood. Manasota Key is not as popular as some of the other well-known places in Southwest Florida. That, in itself, makes for a great affordable vacation spot. |

DIRECTIONS: From Sarasota/Bradenton airport, go east on University Parkway to I-75.
Take I-75 South to exit #191 (River Rd.). Go west on River Rd., cross over US 41 to SR 776. Turn Left
(south) on State Route 776 to Beach Rd. Turn Right (west) on Beach Rd., go over drawbridge to an
intersection. Englewood Beach is straight ahead.
