Anna Maria Island Beaches
STEP BACK IN TIME to OLD FLORIDA
CHARM
Just west of Bradenton, overlooking the mouth
of Tampa Bay, Anna Maria is legendary for its sugar-white coastline, emerald Gulf waters and quaint shopping districts.
Free of high-rises, theme parks and water slides, this little island is a fishing, birding, and kayaking paradise.
Anna Maria Info
Extending north and around the tip of the
island is Anna Maria Beach with spectacular views of Tampa Bay, the Skyway Bridge and St. Petersburg. Quaint
residential streets with towering Australian Pines access Holmes Beach offering a stunning quiet stretch of
shoreline.
Manatee and Cortez Beaches are popular family destinations offering all the amenities even teens would
enjoy while the City of Bradenton Beach has a beautiful sandy shore that’s accessible to downtown shopping and
dining. At the southern end, Coquina Beach flanks Gulf Drive on both sides where young people gather and enjoy
a little kite surfing while naturalists hit the trails and fishermen cast their lines. Kayaks and boat enthusiasts can
launch right into Sarasota Bay with easy access to the Gulf.
